The Big Reveal

Daddy and the kids have spent many, many hours out in the cold garage working on their Go Kart. This is them putting the final piece on and getting ready to take it for a spin!

I made daddy go by himself first, just in case it blew up. :)
Dad and his girl
Carter's turn. He was in Heaven!
And of course the babies had to go for a ride. Coleson had so much fun! He freaked out when he had to get off!
Weston thought it was alright. You can tell how impressed he was by the look on his face! Don't worry, the babies weren't wearing helmets because they went about 1 mile per hour down the sidewalk.

Christmas Memories

Christmas Morning in our PJ's
Carter opening his remote control helicopter....he was soooo excited!
The boys were very excited about opening their presents...they love having all of these new toys!
We love playing games over here...I was as excited as they were to open them up and
start playing! Carter just informed me the other day that his "baby scooter" was "ridiculous", so I knew that this present was going to be a hit! It sure beats riding his sister's Barbie scooter!
Do you think she liked it?
Testing out their new toys
I think someone was still sleepy!
He was not amused
New snow hat
Brother love
All of the cousins at grandma's on Christmas Day! 8 kids all 7 and under...enough said!
Ava-7....Ariyah-5 months....Kausten-2 1/2....Aiden-4....
Weston-17 months....Carter-4....Coleson- 17 months....Makayla-almost 2

Speckled and Spotted- Part 2

Here are some pictures of our sad little hands and feet. :( For those of you who didn't see part one of this post, go back to see what I'm talking about.
----Coleson's sucking thumb- Not pretty----
Ava's hand

Weston's piggys
Carter's knee
Coleson's other hand
Ava's foot
Aunt Kenzie, the nurse, requested some pictures. So there you have it! The blisters are starting to scab over, so there's an end in sight!

Speckled, Spotted and Polka Dotted

That is what our kid's hands, feet, mouths and bottoms look like right now. They apparently have "hand, foot and mouth disease". This is a virus that causes you to get blisters in your mouth and throat, on your hands and feet, and causes some sort of bumpy diaper rash. Carter also has it on his knees, which is kind of odd.
It hasn't really bothered Carter or Coleson, but Ava and Weston (the dramatic ones) have been quite the complainers. Weston's blisters are just about gone, which means the other three should be well over it by Christmas, since Weston got it 2 days before everyone else. The nurse said adults don't usually get it, which is nice for me and Nick. So anyways, that's what's going on over here. Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

First Snow!

The little stinker was about to throw a snowball at me...she hit me too!
Carter started getting his snow gear on the second we got home from church...we had only seen a few flakes, but it didn't matter!

What a fun surprise! It was nice to send them outside, even though it only lasted 10 minutes!

Tree up, and one Christmas Party down

It was so cold the day we got our tree. We seriously picked out our tree, took pictures, cut it and loaded it in five minutes. We were in such a hurry, that we didn't notice Weston was missing a shoe until we were getting them all back into the car. Poor little toes on that cold ground! (Nick was the one carrying Weston...I'd like to think that I would have noticed!) And I've always thought that he couldn't multi-task!
Finished tree....before the babies got their hands on it and did a little "redecorating"!
We did my family's Christmas Party early, since my sister and her baby were here. The kids were so good with Akyra, even the little guys! They would all bring her toys and just stare at her! It was pretty stinkin' cute!
Akyra's 1st Christmas present. Her poor daddy was so sad that he missed it.
Grandma demonstrating how to "bathtub fish".
Ava and Auntie
Daddy with his boys. I have a picture of Nick holding the older 2 just like this (in the same place) when they were little. His hairline was looking a little better in those days! Just kidding babe, you look great! Haven't aged a bit! ;)

A little behind...

I know that I haven't posted anything for awhile, but it's been a crazy couple of weeks! We've had dentist appointments, doctor appointments, work dinners, playground duty, christmas shopping, a christmas party and a couple of sick kids. I know that many of you can relate! My sister and her baby were here visiting last week, and I shot a wedding last weekend. (Head on over to my photography blog for a little sneak peek: http://www.ashleyseigmanphotography.blogspot.com/ ) Now that all of the chaos is over, I will be editing pictures and wrapping presents like crazy! Hope everyone is doing well! Stay warm!
