A little bit of Weston news

Our little Weston now has a tooth....a month and a half after Coleson! I felt that it was necessary to post, since I did when Coleson's 1st teeth appeared. Weston is also army crawling all over the place! He's getting quicker every day. (Notice the lack of exclamation point!) Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited about the progress that he is making, but a little freaked out as to what this means for our already chaotic life! I am afraid that I won't be able to leave their sides at all, because you never know when one of the big kids is going to leave something small in their paths. I've already caught Weston with a "Littlest Pet Shop" doggie bone in his mouth...who knows where he found it, but he found it!

We are in so much trouble!

The boys have hit some big milestones, and are soon going to hit others:
Coleson John is a pro at the sitting thing. He's been doing it for about 3 weeks and is pretty happy about it. He also gives kisses and says mama and dada. I know it seems so early- Nick didn't believe me until he walked in the room the other day and Coleson said "Dada"! He usually says "Mama" when he is crying...it just melts my heart! He also is pretty good at drinking out of his new sippy cup and feeding himself snacks! He's our little piggy!
What a little stud!
Weston James can finally sit up, as of this afternoon! He was beaming!!! He's been strong enough for a while, but he just couldn't figure out the balance thing until now. He's still a little wobbly, but he's sitting for a few minutes at a time now! Weston also gives kisses- the big open mouth slobbery kind! He can feed himself snacks really well now, but doesn't really understand the sippy cup thing.
He is also getting ready to crawl...he gets on all fours and can even straighten his legs and put his bottom way up in the air.
Look at that focus!

Our Easter Egg Tree

EASTER EGGS
The kids and I decided that we would decorate our tree in the front yard with some cute little Easter Eggs
I have a feeling that we just started a new tradition!

My friend Emily, the mom of Luke and Logan, (11 months) came over today with her guys. Another twin mom named Melissa, who I met through Emily, brought her boys Weston and Haiden ( 9 months). There was supposed to be a third mom with 1 year old twin boys, but she couldn't make it. It was fun having our twin talks and comparing stories! We got to visit while changing diapers, cleaning up baby puke, breastfeeding, bouncing, rocking and playing. It was so much fun! Thanks girls!

4 little infected ears

I've figured out why we haven't been sleeping this week....both babies have double ear infections. Poor boys. :( The doctor said that they are both pretty bad, and couldn't believe how content they seemed when so much was going on in there. They are such good boys! And to top it all off, poor Weston STILL has his little yeast infection, which has also gotten worse in the last few days. So needless to say, after picking up 2 bottles of amoxicillin, 2 tubes of Nystatin, 2 tubes of Hydrocortisone, Probiotic Culture Capsules, some Motrin and some Tylenol, we are finally on the road to recovery! Now just pray that they sleep!

Coleson's New Smile

Our little Coleson is the proud owner of two shiny little bottom teeth! My sister in law was over and discovered them the other night. He has been such a little trooper! He's been acting completely normal- I never would have know that he was teething. There is never much of a production with Coleson, he leaves the drama to Weston!
