Ava and Kyler's big day at Disney on Ice

Megan got us all tickets to Disney on Ice-Princess Wishes for Ava's 5th Birthday. We spent the day shopping and having such a good time. We went to a restaurant in Seattle called Rainforest Cafe before the show, which was really fun for the girls. The elephants and gorillas were a little too noisy for Kyler, so Megan made some ear plugs out of napkins! Then we went to Key Arena for Disney on Ice and the girls were clueless. We kept it a secret all day, which made it even more exciting to see the looks on their faces when the music came on and the skaters came out. Megan and I were even excited about it. They got to see Aladdin and Jasmine, Cinderella, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Tinkerbell, and many more of their favorites! We stopped at Target after it was over (bottom picture) and the girls were pretending they were skating princesses!!! We had a truly memorable day- what a great birthday present!

October Fun!!! Pumpkin Patch, Halloween, Harvest Party and Harvest Festival!

Ava and Carter had so much fun this fall!! We went to the Harvest Festival with cousins Aiden and Kausten. The kids went on the train, wagon ride and through the hay maze. We went to the Pumpkin Patch and also carved/painted pumpkins at Grandpa Rick and Grandma Natalie's house.
Every year we have a Harvest Party with my family. The kids dress up and we do a hay ride, candy hunt, pinata and lots of pictures. There are also some pictures of "Dora and Diego" on Halloween doing our Trick or treating.

Auntie Felicia's Wedding

We all went to California for Auntie Felicia's wedding. I went with the kids a few days before Nick came, which was interesting. Ava was a flower girl and Carter was a ring bearer, along with Dan's Nieces and Nephews.

Ava and Carter's exciting Summer

The kids had a lot of fun this summer. They played with their friends in the backyard so much this year. There was always a pool, slip-n-slide or a sprinkler occupying our lawn! We did lots of fun things like fishing with daddy, riding tractors with grandpa Al at the tractor show, going to the fair, and riding horses with cousins Marcos and Mariela. We went to a lot of barbecues with family and friends- we took the family picture at a barbecue at Mike and Michelle's. We also had a few showers for Auntie Felicia in August, which kept us really busy. Ava got to come to one and we took the cute picture with her, mommy and grandma Charlene. So much fun!!!

Carter's 2nd Birthday Party!

Carter had a firetruck birthday party this year. We had a firetruck pinata and daddy even took the kids for a ride on a real firetruck. He pulled the airhorn for the kids, which I'm sure the neighbors really appreciated! Carter's party was on a very warm day, so the kids all took a dip in the pool. He had an ice cream firetruck cake and even got a few firetrucks for his presents. He also got a new pool, a baseball set, a fishing pole, a Diego rescue pack, a barbecue, lots of clothes and many more things. Such a spoiled little boy!

Ava's Bike-a-thon and Tee Ball

Ava had a Bike-a-thon at her preschool. She got 1st place for the tricycles and did about 30 laps! Mommy, Carter and a few grandma's got to come and watch her! She also played Tee Ball with her friend Ashlyn. Dante, Ashlyn's dad was their coach. A lot of our family got to come and watch her! She did very well and had a lot of fun!

Easter 2007

Ava and Carter were so cute on Easter! Ava was all about getting her picture taken, but Carter was just being a goof ball the whole time. We didn't get one picture of him sitting still and smiling! Boys! The kids had an easter egg hunt at my parents with a bunch of cousins. Carter was big enough to look for easter eggs this year- last year he wasn't walking yet.
